Legal, IP & takedowns
Plain-English terms covering brand names, card images, pricing data, escrow, record-keeping and how to report infringing content.
Independent marketplace
NEXUS LABS TCG is an independent platform for collectors, shops and creators. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or licensed by any trading card publisher, game studio, anime rights holder or auction platform. We do not print, grade or authenticate cards.
Trademarks and third-party names
Game, set, character and company names are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only descriptively, to identify what a member is collecting, listing, searching for or discussing. We never present them as our own brand and we do not use them in our logo, product name or advertising as an endorsement.
Card images and listing photos
Members and shops upload their own photographs of the items they own. Catalogue artwork shown alongside pricing data is sourced from public reference APIs for identification purposes. If you own rights in an image and want it removed, use the takedown process below and we will action it.
Pricing data
Sold prices are aggregated estimates drawn from publicly completed sales and are shown in pounds sterling after currency conversion. They are guidance only, not a valuation, appraisal or financial advice, and may be out of date or incomplete. Always check the item itself before buying or selling.
Takedown and IP complaints
Email nexuslabstcg@gmail.com with the exact page or listing link, the material you believe infringes, proof of your rights, and your contact details. We remove or disable reported material while we review it, and we repeat-offender suspend accounts. Members can also use the Report button on any listing, post, reel or stream.
Selling, escrow and disputes
Buyer funds are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed or the dispute window closes. Sellers are responsible for the legality, authenticity and description accuracy of everything they list, for their own postage and customs paperwork, and for their own tax reporting.
Records, tax and retention
Every sale is logged for 12 months with buyer, seller, amounts, postage and addresses so both sides have an audit trail for HMRC or their local equivalent. Sellers can export their own records at any time. Live shows and video receipts are retained for at least six months and cannot be deleted, to protect both buyer and seller.
Young collectors
Accounts for under-16s are supervised: a linked parent or guardian approves every friend, messaging is limited to approved friends, and a monthly spending limit can be set. We do not run behavioural advertising to supervised accounts.
The seller is the trader, not us
Every sale, trade, print-to-order item, grading submission, break or live show is a contract between the buyer and the seller or shop that offers it. NEXUS LABS TCG only provides the software, the storefront and the payment plumbing. We are not the seller, agent, importer, distributor, manufacturer or valuer of anything listed, and we give no warranty about any item.
Seller responsibility and indemnity
By listing, streaming or taking payment on the platform, a seller confirms they own or are authorised to sell the item, that its description, photos, condition and authenticity are accurate, that they hold the licences, insurance, safety marks and consumer-law rights notices their country requires, and that they handle their own postage, customs, refunds, returns and tax. Sellers agree to cover us for any claim, fine, chargeback, legal cost or loss that arises from what they sold, said, printed or streamed.
Claims are routed to the seller first
Buyer complaints, item-not-as-described claims, faulty or counterfeit goods, delivery failures and refund requests are raised against the seller through the dispute process, and are settled from that seller's escrowed or future funds. Where a claim reaches us instead, we pass it to the seller, hold the disputed amount, and may recover costs from their balance or payout. Repeated claims lead to selling access being suspended.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost sales or lost data, and our total liability to any member for any claim is capped at the subscription fees that member paid us in the previous three months. Nothing here removes rights you cannot lawfully sign away — including a consumer's statutory rights against the seller they bought from.
Prohibited items and conduct
No counterfeit, replica or proxy cards, no altered cards sold as originals, no gambling-style blind sales that are unlawful in the buyer's country, no harassment, and no sharing of another member's personal details. Breaches are removed and can end in permanent suspension.
Submit a takedown request
Rights holders can file here instead of emailing. Every request is logged, timestamped and actioned by a moderator.
